GETTING STARTED WITH AWS

The moment you heard about AWS and someone asked you to start learning AWS, the first thought you will consider is WHY? Why should I learn? How come it will be helpful to me in my career?

Yes, you are correct!! All the doubts that rose in your mind are meaningful and need to be understood.

The name "AWS" stands for Amazon Web Services. It originated from the parent company, Amazon.com, The one word that can be used to describe AWS is "cloud". AWS is a leading cloud computing platform that provides businesses and individuals a wide range of cloud services and solutions.

So, at the moment, AWS controls the majority of the market. This is due to AWS's amazing "PAY AS YOU GO" strategy, which means that you only pay for what you use, with no upfront or down payment required. As I previously stated, it occupies a significant section of the industry. As an IT expert, you must understand how it works, because after we complete our job, we must keep it in a safe and secure location, and AWS is one of the best options. And in the coming day's cloud will act as an add-on to the profile because every organization will be shifting to Cloud-based solutions regardless of what they need to store.

Okay, but what was there prior to this AWS or other cloud Providers? How are they used to handle all these? Prior to the advent of cloud computing, organizations were required to maintain and manage their data and software on local storage systems and dedicated servers.

Well.. Let’s discuss some of the import features of the AWS:
